The Easyfix drilling machine enables precise drilling into grafted and ungrafted trees up to a height of 2.5 m. The powerful Bosch motor (230 V / 2.1 kW, 6,500 rpm) ensures rapid drilling in just a few seconds. This means that around 120 trees can be drilled per hour.

To do this, pull the net on the trunk slightly upwards (for trees with netting), place the tree in the conical feed funnel and align the tip with the height-adjustable spacer rod (yellow). Pressing the foot pedal whilst the machine is running drills a vertical hole into the underside of the tree trunk.

In combination with our display stands and water stands, this drilling process enables an attractive product display and helps build strong customer loyalty.

2x hexagon set screws for drill chuck

Spare set screws (1 pair) for securely fixing the drill bit in the drill chuck. Suitable for Easyfix drills, types 1–5. Technical data: M8 external thread, 4 mm internal hexagon.To change the drill bit, slightly loosen the side grub screws. Then pull the drill bit out upwards and insert the sharpened or new drill bit so that the flattened side faces towards the grub screws. Then tighten both screws hand-tight again.

Distance bar for drilling machine

If it is bent, it should always be replaced to ensure the tree can be correctly aligned during drilling. If the rod no longer locks properly, preventing it from being adjusted to the relevant tree size on the stainless steel rod, we also recommend replacing it.

Plastic plain bearings

Maintenance-free dry plain bearings made of plastic (internal diameter: 18 mm). Suitable for Easyfix drilling machine, types 2/3/4/5.The bearings are fitted in pairs on both sides of the carriage to which the angle grinder is mounted. Here, they ensure that the component glides smoothly along the two chrome rods, thereby enabling the machine to be operated effortlessly via the foot pedal.Important: This is a dry plain bearing. It is not necessary to grease the bearings!To replace the bearings, release the chrome rods from their mountings in the machine and pull both rods out. Using circlip pliers for bores (internal rings, i.e. the pliers close when squeezed), remove the upper and lower circlips securing the bearing in order to replace it. Then reinsert the circlips, reinsert the chrome rods and secure them.
