Product information "Plastic plain bearings"

Maintenance-free dry plain bearings made of plastic (internal diameter: 18 mm). Suitable for Easyfix drilling machine, types 2/3/4/5.

The bearings are fitted in pairs on both sides of the carriage to which the angle grinder is mounted. Here, they ensure that the component glides smoothly along the two chrome rods, thereby enabling the machine to be operated effortlessly via the foot pedal.

Important: This is a dry plain bearing. It is not necessary to grease the bearings!

To replace the bearings, release the chrome rods from their mountings in the machine and pull both rods out. Using circlip pliers for bores (internal rings, i.e. the pliers close when squeezed), remove the upper and lower circlips securing the bearing in order to replace it. Then reinsert the circlips, reinsert the chrome rods and secure them.
